You spin me right ’round

Just about everybody uses a blowdryer. This beauty tool is all but essential – most of us would probably include it on our list of items we'd need on a desert island (imagine the frizz)!  But have you ever wondered why some women seem to be able to use the blowdryer like a magic wand, turning unruly curls into smooth, polished locks, while you just create a big damaged, tangled mess? The answer lies in one simple tool: a round brush.

Unlike your fingers, a round brush can be used to pull hair perfectly taught, so you smooth out curls and blowdry them away before they even get a chance to think about kinking up. Plus, round brushes can be used to give your hair that salon-finished look by adding just a pinch of curl at the very end of your locks. Just wrap hair around the brush, blowdry and let your tresses cool before releasing to reveal a slight wave that's oh-so-glamorous.

Round brushes also come in a variety of sizes, so you can pick the one that'll give your hair the style you're looking for. Are you after sky-high volume? Select the biggest brush you can find for hair that's full of bounce. If you're just trying to get polished tresses without a hint of kink, a smaller brush will do the trick.

If you've never used a round brush before, today's the day to pick it up and give it a shot. It's simple and easy – do it right, and your hair will look like you just stepped out of the salon.
