The one style all curly-haired girls should know

Ah, naturally curly hair. My best gift and my worst curse. On the one hand, it's awesome not having to deal with flat irons and round brushes every day. But on the other hand, a particularly humid afternoon can easily wreak havoc on your appearance. I’ve walked into work more than once with a frizz ball atop my head.  On those days when natural curls just won't work, it may be time to break out THE HIGH BUN. Hallelujah!

A high bun is classy, elegant and simple, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. If you want your style to be more carefree than high-maintenance pull your bun back loosely and secure with bobby pins instead of an elastic. This will allow some of your curls to fall out, giving your style a sexy, bed-headed edge.

If your curls are unruly, you can tame them while still looking sultry. Add a headband, comb back the front of your hair (and bangs, if have them), then secure your curls in place with an elastic hair band. If you want something a little more attention-grabbing, opt for a headband with a fun embellishment. Feathers, jewels or any other equally opulent accessories are a good look for this season.

No matter how hot, humid, snowy or wet it may be, the weather won't be able to muss up your style when you've got this sleek look.
