Things we love: The Face Scrub Edition

There are so many scrubs on the beauty shelves these days, picking one can be confusing. So I dod all the trial and error so that  you don’t have to waste your time . Hey, it’s my job.

Why do I even need a scrub?

A facial cleanser can’t always remove the dirt, grime, and dead skin. That is the job of a facial scrub. It will remove all the impurities that are hindering your skin from achieving a radiant glow. If you sweat a lot (your body is detoxing) make a facial scrub a part of your skin routine as you will have dead skin to remove.  A beauty scrub shouldn’t be used daily as the facial skin is delicate, so about 3 times a week is a good recommendation.

Mineral Fusion Skin-Renewing Facial Scrub

If you have sensitive skin and are looking for a more natural scrub, Mineral Fusion Skin-Renewing Facial Scrub  is great. It contains garnet, white clay, walnut, lcorice root, aloe vera, cucumber, lavender and rosemary to not only soothe your skin but also refine it too. It is free from parabens, artificial colors, and synthetic fragrances.

Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow Face Scrub

If you don’t eat sugar, then Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow Face Scrub may be next best thing! As you know sugar granules are a fine, gritty substance. So it makes the perfect, gentle scrub for your facial skin. This scrub also contains ingredients like african red tea, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin extract, and honey- it almost sounds good enough to eat it! This scrub is great for sensitive skin and it is gentle enough to use about two times a week.

Benefit Refined Finish Facial Polish

Benefit Refined Finish Facial Polish contains features natural clay and seaweed extract that help purify and detox the skin leaving you with a fresh complexion.

Lush Ocean Salt Body & Facial Scrub

Looking for a scrub that does double duty? Well, Lush Ocean Salt Body & Facial Scrub. It contains lime, grapefruit, avocado, coconut and of course ocean salt. This scrub will leave your skin squeaky clean. And you’ll smell like you just walked off the beach. If you have sensitive skin, this might not be the best scrub for your skin.
