Re-organize your makeup for fall

Whenever the seasons change, I take it as a good opportunity to re-organize my life. When it comes to makeup, the change of seasons is a particularly good time to clean up and clear out so I can make room for all the fun new trends of the coming season! This fall, clear out your summer stash with these tips.

Start by emptying out your entire makeup bag or bin and spread everything out so you can see it. Separate everything by type: foundations, powders and other face makeup should go together, eyeshadows and blushes should have their own pile, too. First and foremost, toss out any old, expired or broken items. This will save you some frustration while getting ready this fall because you can count on everything to work perfectly!

The next thing to do is separate out the seasonal items. Your dark shades of foundation and bronzer might go in this pile, as would your bright coral and bubblegum pink lipsticks. You won’t be needing those this fall!

Now, you have room to add your fall makeup in! Store your berry and oxblood lipsticks upright so you can see the labels easily and pick the one you want to rock this season.
