New season, new hair?

The leaves are falling, the weather is getting chill, why shouldn’t your hair change a little, too? Whether you decide to hop on the bangs bandwagon or get some seasonal highlights, my philosophy on hair is that if the seasons are transitioning, your hair should get some sort of transformation, too.

As the leaves turn from green to orange, gold and red, why not alter the shades of your hair, too? Warm up brunette locks with some warm brown or auburn highlights, or let your summer color grow out into a super-chic ombre. You can also enhance your natural color and shine with a clear gloss.

If you want a major change in color, be a redhead! Auburn shades of brown and strawberry blondes also fall into this category, but if you’ve ever wanted to go red, autumn is the perfect time!

You can also update your hair for the new season with a new look. Now that the humidity and heat of summer is long gone, it might be a good time to try out bangs. They will be easier to style in the dry fall air, and you won’t have them sticking to your face!
