Three quick facts about me: I love makeup (obviously), I love a bargain and I love shopping online. When I can combine all three I’m giddy with excitement. The truth is that makeup can be pricey and while I’d like to be able to buy every product that catches my eye, it’s just not possible. Fortunately, I love the thrill of the chase and shopping online makes the chasing a whole lot easier. Tracking down great products at a phenomenal price is all part of the fun! Here are some of my favorite online makeup steals and deals:
e.l.f.: e.l.f. (stands for eyes, lips, face) Cosmetics carries a wide range of beauty products from lipstick to eyeshadow, makeup brushes to nail polish and everything in between and the prices are unbelievable. For example, they have primer for $6 and makeup setting spray for $3 – and people love these products! I haven’t had a chance to try much of their stuff yet, but my favorite so far is the High Definition Powder (also just $6). It works great for me, giving my skin that airbrushed appearance.
Sephora Beauty Insider Program: For cosmetic junkies like me, Sephora is like the mother ship calling us home, so when I originally found out about their reward program I was all over it. It’s free to register and once you do you will start accumulating points with each purchase you make in store or online. When your points bank hits certain marks you receive free products. You also get a beauty birthday gift each year which you can pick up in store (within 14 days of your birthday) or claim with an online purchase.
Everyday Minerals 7 Piece Custom Sample Kit: I just recently tried this mineral makeup brand and am loving it so far. This company offers an easy and inexpensive way to give minerals a shot. You can order a free sample kit (you just pay the shipping) and you get to choose from their wide range of shades and finishes. Even better, if you end up finding one you like the prices on their regular sized products are really reasonable.
Lucky Scent Samples: If your passion is fragrance then this site is the place to be. Lucky Scent carries a ton of lesser known scents and they also offer samples of most of them so that you can try before investing in a full size bottle. For a few dollars (usually $3 or $4, but sometimes more) you get a small vial of the scent of your choice. You can order as many samples as you want and, at certain times of the year, they offer sample collections for a reasonable price so that you can try out some of the hottest new fragrances of the season.
So those are some of my favorite online beauty deals. What are yours?
