Building a B-B-base for your makeup routine

If you have already discovered BB cream, you are probably already enjoying a more streamlined, simplified makeup routine. BB (beauty balm) cream is a cosmetic that only recently gained popularity in the United States after serving as a favorite of Asian actresses for decades.

At its simplest, BB cream serves as a moisturizer, sunscreen, primer and foundation. However, many varieties are adding anti-aging ingredients, vitamins and minerals that brighten the skin. So how do you add BB cream to your makeup routine?

It’s pretty easy, given that BB cream can replace all of those other cosmetics. Because it can do such a great job at evening your skin tone, you might not even need foundation or concealer. However, if you still do, apply this makeup after you apply BB cream. If you don’t feel you need any more coverage than what the cream provides, dust some loose powder over your face to zap any shine and carry out the rest of your makeup application as usual. BB cream provides an all-purpose base for the rest of your cosmetics that might just make your makeup routine easier than ever!
