Celebrities often start their own clothing lines, makeup lines and even skincare lines when they hit it big. But do their skincare lines compare to larger brands that we’ve been using for years? How do you even know these celeb lines work? You do your research! Here are a few celebrities that have their own skin care lines and what they stand for.
Salma Hayek has a skin care line called Nuance. As Hayek states “It was inspired by my grandmother, my products are designed help every woman enhance the nuances that define her natural beauty.” The brand produces moisturizers, serums, treatments, cleansers, body care and hair care products and even color cosmetics. Her products seem to be fairly inexpensive ( ranging from $8 – $ 20) and have natural ingredients. Her line is sold exclusively at CVS.
Cindy Crawford is another celebrity who has a popular skincare line. You’ve probably seen the commercials for Meaningful Beauty. Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh helped Crawford create the brand that became her personal secret to defying the aging. Instead of buying several different products individually, you purchase her products as a system with all 5 products. This includes cleanser, day cream, serum, eye cream and anti-aging capsules. This system costs $39.95 which doesn’t seem too expensive for all that you receive. Check it out at MeaningfulBeauty.com.
Remember Christie Brinkley? This gorgeous model has her own skin care line aptly named Christie Brinkley Skincare. The line includes a daytime treatment and a nighttime treatment and these two products are derived from all natural, vegan, and paraben free ingredients, obviously no animal testing as Christie is a well-known animal activist. Plus, all of the packing is environmentally conscious.
