Easy and Quick Beauty Fixes

Easy-and-Quick-Beauty-Fixes

Everyone has days when their beauty game is a little off. Whether you get a stain on your clothes or your makeup starts running the second you get out of the door, there are some quick and easy beauty fixes every girl should know. You never know when you might need to know these tips.

1. Yellow nails. Use baking soda and a scrub brush to reveal whiter nails. You can also add teeth whitening mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide to get rid of dingy nails while you let your nails breathe from nail polish.

2. When your hair is frizzy and you’re dealing with static cling, use a dryer sheet and smooth over your hair to get rid of the electricity and smooth your hair quickly. It will also leave a fresh scent.

3. If you’ve used too much blush and are starting to look like a clown, reach for your foundation instead of a tissue. Wiping it off can wipe off more of your makeup than you’d like or irritate the skin, so instead gently work foundation onto the skin using a sponge to lighten the pink shade.

4. If you’re in a rush but have a set of wet nails after doing your nail polish, use a drop of oil to help stop smudging and set the color.

5. If you’ve gone overboard or messed up your eyeliner application, use a little bit of baby oil and an angled sponge for quick cleanup along the lash line.

6. If you’ve sprayed a little too much of your favorite perfume and are afraid to set off someone’s allergies, remove some of the fragrance with a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol, witch hazel or vodka. Remember, one spritz is often enough.

7. Double check your lipstick before you head out the door and walk into a party with some on your teeth. Wash your hands and then put your index finger in your mouth, close your month and pull out your finger. This will show any excess lipstick that might have been on your teeth. Saved from embarrassment!

8. If your eye shadow tends to drift onto your cheekbones, dip moisturizer into an angled sponge and wipe away the excess eye shadow.

9. If you have lots of shine on your face throughout the day, instead of blotting with paper towels or tissues, use a toilet seat cover if you don’t have any oil blotting sheets handy. They work just about the same.

10. If you’re busy throughout the day, you might get smelly underarms and don’t have any extra deodorant or spray, use hand sanitizer. Dab a few drops under your arms to help you feel fresh and smelling better.
