Even if you have close to perfect skin, breakouts can crop up from time to time. You may not know what is causing them. Here are some things to consider keeping glowing, healthy and beautiful skin, whether you have had acne or other skin problems for years or just the occasional zit.

  1. Think about how much dairy you’ve been eating or drinking. Food sensitivities or allergies often manifest in skin issues. Dairy is especially known to cause acne for those who are allergic or sensitive. You may not think you have a sensitivity to dairy if your stomach is fine, but it can definitely crop up in skin issues. Think about it: your skin is your body’s largest organ. Not to mention dairy products often contain a lot of sugar and sugar can also wreak havoc on your skin. Try switching to coconut or rice milk and milk products and see if your skin improves.
